Dr. Mary Frances Berries are the Geraldine R. Segal Professor of yankee Social Thought and Professor in history in the College of Pennsylvania since 1987. She received her Ph.D. ever in the College of Michigan and J.D. in the College of Michigan School. She’s the writer of twelve books and person receiving thirty-five honorary doctorate levels. From 1980 to 2004, she was part of the U.S. Commission on Civil Legal rights, and from 1993 to 2004 offered as chair. Berry will talk about the situation for reparations and also the good reputation for Callie House, a widowed washerwoman who required reparations for ex-slaves within the 1890s.
